On Nov. 16, Broad International signed contract for general contracting and financial services with Suriname Ministry of Public Works and Suriname National Post Bank in Paramaribo. Broad International and China-Lac Cooperation Fund will invest 10.4 million USD to advance the construction of 150 units of affordable residential houses and supporting infrastructure projects in the Republic of Suriname through a PPP model, representing the implementation of the first phase of project signed by Broad International and China-Lac Cooperation Fund with investment of 500 million USD and PPP model and financial model by Broad International in overseas markets.

Wolff, minister of Suriname Ministry of Public Works, Ms. Peggy Bouterse-Bilkerdijk, Suriname President Office Director, Mr. Ginmardo Budiono Kromosoeto, Suriname National Post Bank, Mr. Zhang Jinxiong, Chinese Ambassador in Suriname, Ms. Ma Yingli, Chinese Commercial counselor in Suriname and Mr. Jiang Jie, General Manager of Broad International attended the signing ceremoy.

On May 11th 2016, Broad Homes Industrial Co., Ltd.’s subsidiary company Broad Homes Industrial International Co., Ltd., signed the official cooperative joint venture contract and terms sheet with China-Lac Cooperation Fund. Both parties will invest 500 million USD (first phase 50 million USD, second phase 450 million USD) in total to advance the building of houses and infrastructure projects in the Republic of Suriname through a PPP model. This will provide 8000 units of affordable housing and supporting infrastructure (including roads, service infrastructure, business etc.) to help solve the housing issue in Suriname.
